After 15 years one of us should have known better

It is a family tradition to decorate sugar cookies for the holidays and since this is Alan's favorite cookie this is how we spent Halloween night.




This is how Alan wanted the cookies to look. He is going for maximum amount of candy and minimum amount of effort.

This how the mother wanted the cookies to look - like a jack-o-lantern face.

The compromise was that about 5 cookies could look my way for a picture.

The best part. Notice we have the sliding glass door open on Oct. 31.
