After how many years(?) of saying that we would go visit these people, we finally made it. We had a great visit, they are very good hosts. They grilled for me all weekend which I appreciated since I can not have a grill at the apartment. They fed Dave ham for Easter dinner. They know us so well. Tony even came home from the university to visit us. Thanks guys it was great to see you.
This was my first trip to Arizona-other than that stretch of road to get to Disneyland. I was wowed by the saguaro cactus. The birds peck the round holes in them. These plants can take a lot of damage and still they thrive. Obviously I am not their caretaker-I can not keep a cactus alive-not even if my life depended on it.
