We took off for the weekend to visit Mesa Verde. It was a fun get-away. I enjoyed all of the hikes that we went on. Dave let me go on all of the extra tours. I liked them because they were more hands on than the other exhibits. They had an awesome museum too.

These walls are about 700 years old. They are so well preserved because they are protected under the cliffs.
I am glad I did not have to be the mother who had to tend little ones on all of these ladders and cliff edges.
Pretty much it seemed like a harsh life to me.
