This is Alan's fishing position while on the boats. He is zoned out to any happenings on the boat, giving all of his attention to his pole. Often times the guides would think that he had fallen asleep. Were they ever wrong. No distractions for this boy.

This fish is a flounder. Dave also caught this one. They threw it back, it is about as big as the palm of your hand.
No matter how small the fish it is fun to have some action to break up the time while waiting for the big one to bite.
